Meet the woman behind the mission
Mpress Bennu brings education, culture, and storytelling together. Through Moving Mountains TSOP Inc. and Moving Mountains Media, she creates spaces where people can be heard, supported, and connected.
Her work spans youth empowerment, financial literacy, community celebrations, radio, and television—all grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with people.

Moving Mountains is a member of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. Mpress has also joined the Greenfield Business Association, strengthening her connections with Greenfield’s local business community.
Through our partnerships with community organizations, nonprofits, and local leaders, we work to expand access to resources, increase visibility for underserved voices, and create opportunities that support long-term community growth.
Our collaborations help bring programs, education, and cultural initiatives directly to the people who need them most.
Our community storytelling highlights real voices, local experiences, and cultural events across Franklin County. Through partnerships with local media platforms like GCTV, we share stories that uplift, educate, and strengthen community connections.

Community Event Leadership
Mpress’s community-event work includes Greenfield Juneteenth and reggae gatherings, creating space for history, music, local vendors, and cultural expression. The photographs below preserve that history. She handed off Juneteenth in 2025; these galleries are not announcements of a new edition.
Our events are made possible through partnerships with local organizations, nonprofits, artists, and small businesses across Franklin County. We collaborate with groups such as the Greenfield Human Rights Commission, Franklin County CDC, and community leaders to ensure events are inclusive, accessible, and impactful.
Our cultural programming brings together community members, local vendors, and artists for education and celebration. These events strengthen community connections while increasing visibility and opportunity for underserved voices.

Mpress organized Greenfield’s Juneteenth celebrations from 2022 through 2025, bringing residents, families, and local organizations together around history and culture. She describes the 2025 handoff in her March 2026 column.
